Roanoke on the Road
I was hired to document Roanoke on the Road back in 2010. The idea behind this was to take Betsy Bannan's paintings to New York City in a big tour bus and have a bunch of people involved in the tour create a circus atmosphere in the numerous locations throughout the city.
This was my introduction to a lot of people in Roanoke and was a really fun way to meet them - being driven around Manhattan in a comfortable bus, drinking liquor and hopping out here and there to create a performance.
