Roanoke on the Road
Roanoke on the Road was the brainchild of Ed Walker and Betsy Bannan, I think. The idea was to drive Betsy's art to Manhattan and jump out at locations around the city, show off her art, create a circus atmosphere, play some music (BB and the Lawbreakers) and move on to the next location. I was asked by Beth Deel to document this process. I took a Polaroid Big Shot, my Canon video camera and a Canon AE 1. It was really a fun day of selling Roanoke and Betsy's paintings.
