The Virginia Heights Project
I moved to Orlando, Florida in the Spring of 2002 and totally lucked out. I ended up in the coolest neighborhood in the city at a time when people were really active in creating music, art, events of all kinds, great parties, etc. I moved right next door to Pat Greene and down the street from Alex Boeckl, two people right in the center of all kinds of amazing things going on in the city. During my time there we worked on a project called the Virginia Heights Project, organized by Pat, which was a lengthy study and reinvention of a neighborhood on Lake Formosa.

It was all really just a good time, going for walks in the Sun, having "meetings", parties and eventually putting on an evening displaying what we'd been doing at the Peacock Lounge on Mills. Every neighborhood should have a Virginia Heights project.. Here's a Flickr set of the project.

I designed this logo for the project.

This is a phony newsletter I put together.
