Roanoke Studies
I kinda went nuts over Roanoke when I moved back in 2008. At the time it was fun and interesting to obsess on the place where I lived and to use a city as a kind of pallett for ideas. It was a freewheeling time.
You should be able to tell from a lot of the work on this site that most of it is from a seven year period 2008-2015 when I lived in Roanoke and really dug in deep. I liked the idea of having a city as my subject. I used to think, oh I'll just live in Roanoke for the rest of my ife and do Philosophy INC stuff there. I still miss it.
