Rail-walk Apartment Posters
When Beth Deel asked me to create posters for the newly developed Rail-Walk Apartments in downtown Roanoke I knew I wanted all 16 posters to somehow be related to the building. So, I researched the building's history, former owners, the neighborhood, etc. and using combinations of the information I found put together posters for the main hallway of the building. This project was like many of the other projects I'd been a part of in Roanoke in the sense that it was a history of Roanoke that required research and a way to display the results of the research. Oddly enough it's probably one of my biggest projects but also the least seen because it's in a space that requires security access.
